About the League
The Western Iowa Football League (WIFL) is a youth football organization serving athletes from Pre-K through 6th grade across Western Iowa. We offer three progressive formats of football to support players at every stage of development:
- Flag Football for Pre-K through 2nd grade, including a Competitive Division for experienced 2nd graders
- Flex Football for 3rd through 6th grade, a limited-contact option that bridges the gap between flag and tackle
- Tackle Football for 5th and 6th graders, offering a full-contact experience in a structured, team-first environment
WIFL is designed to grow with the athlete — focusing on skill development, safety, and teamwork at every level. Whether a child is picking up a football for the first time or preparing for the next level, WIFL provides a positive and competitive platform to learn, play, and succeed.
